Healing from the Inside Out

Shauna's Radical Model for Transforming Trauma

Shauna is a mum to three amazing boys and the proud wife of Michael. At heart, she’s a passionate life enthusiast, someone who seeks to live deeply, love fully, and embrace every moment. She feels most at home in the presence of her family.

Shauna believes in the innate power of the human spirit to heal. Her work and her life are guided by the truth that every person holds a unique essence, a purpose, a blueprint that is not broken but simply waiting to be remembered

She is a TEDx speaker and a passionate, tireless advocate of healing complex trauma. Shauna speaks with the kind of presence that immediately settles the nervous system. Her words, though measured, carry a quiet intensity, one born of lived experience, deep study, and the profound desire to help others come home to themselves. At the heart of her work lies a question that is driving her PhD research and shaped her life's calling:

Shauna’s model, emerging from her lived experiences of trauma and its transformation, invites us into what she calls an interoceptive, phenomenological approach to primary pain. 'Primary' not in chronology but in its primal, foundational nature. This is the pain that lives beneath the story. It is sensation, it is tension, and it is the body’s whisper that it’s not safe yet.

A Model Born from Lived Experience and Scholarly Rigor.
